Manchester United defender Lisandro Martínez has rejoined first-team training at Carrington, marking an important step in his recovery from the knee injury he sustained in early February.
Martínez, who has made 91 appearances for United since his arrival in 2022, was sidelined following surgery and a structured rehabilitation process.
Manager Rúben Amorim confirmed that Martínez’s knee is responding well and that while there’s no set date for his return to match-play, he is close to full training involvement.
Although unlikely to feature in the immediate fixture against Nottingham Forest, Martínez could be available for the squad in November.
