Mikel Arteta of Arsenal and Rúben Amorim of Manchester United have both been named among the nominees for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for October 2025.
Amorim earned his nomination after guiding Manchester United to three consecutive Premier League victories during the month — defeating Sunderland, Liverpool (their first win at Anfield in nine years), and Brighton & Hove Albion. Arteta was also shortlisted following Arsenal’s solid defensive performances and their position at the top of the Premier League table in October.
Other nominees for the award include Unai Emery of Aston Villa and Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth. Voting for the accolade will close at 12:00 GMT on Monday, 3 November, while the winner is expected to be announced at 12:00 GMT on Friday, 7 November.
The Premier League Manager of the Month award recognises the top-performing coach each month, based on both public votes and an expert panel’s assessment. For Amorim, this marks his first nomination since becoming Manchester United’s manager in November 2024, while Arteta continues to add to his growing list of nominations and awards in the category during his time at Arsenal.
