Arne Slot, manager of Liverpool FC, has provided an updated injury bulletin ahead of the club’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Aston Villa this weekend.

Slot confirmed that Ryan Gravenberch has returned to full training with the squad, making him eligible for selection ahead of the match. “Ryan trained with us yesterday… and will train with us today. Then we’re going to make the call if he is able to start.”

In contrast, Slot indicated that Alexander Isak and Curtis Jones are 99.9% certain to miss the game. “The other two are 99.9 per cent sure not in the squad,” Slot stated.

The injuries stem from recent setbacks: Gravenberch sustained an ankle injury in the 2‑1 defeat to Manchester United FC and has missed the last three matches. Meanwhile, Isak and Jones both suffered groin issues during the 5‑1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Liverpool host Aston Villa this Saturday, with the stakes high as the club aim to reverse a troubling run of form.
