The goal fest began with PSG drawing first blood, only for Leverkusen’s Aleix Garcia to momentarily level the score from the spot. But that was the calm before the storm.
Desire Doue turned the tide with a rapid-fire brace (41’, 45’), while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added flair and finesse with a strike in the 44th minute. By halftime, PSG were cruising at 4–1.
The second half was no less ruthless. Nuno Mendes made it five, Garcia grabbed a consolation, but Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha sealed the deal with goals in the 66th and 90th minutes respectively.
With 67% possession and clinical finishing, PSG didn’t just win — they dazzled. This marks their third straight group stage victory, following triumphs over Atalanta and Barcelona.
