Serie A side Napoli suffered a heavy 6-2 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in their 2025–26 UEFA Champions League group-stage clash.

The Dutch champions took the lead in the 35th minute through an own goal by Alessandro Buongiorno, before Ismael Saibari doubled PSV’s advantage just three minutes later.

After the break, Dennis Man extended the lead with a well-placed finish in the 54th minute and added his second of the night in the 80th minute to make it 4-0. Ricardo Pepi then struck in the 86th minute, followed by Couhaib Driouech’s effort in the 89th to complete PSV’s dominant performance.

Napoli managed to find the net late on through Scott McTominay’s 85th-minute header, but it proved only a consolation in an otherwise one-sided contest.
