Doris Ogala, a Nollywood actress, was reportedly arrested on Saturday, December 20, 2025, after calling out her ex, Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry. The arrest occurred during a livestream where Ogala was speaking with an online personality, and police officers were seen entering her home.
Ogala had previously accused Okafor of ruining her life, claiming they had a relationship since 2017 and he had promised to marry her. She alleged that Okafor shared videos of her miscarriage and sex videos, and pressured her to leave her marriage. Okafor has denied these allegations, with his representative stating they are false.
The actress had also claimed she was arrested and detained at the State CID in Owerri for two days, just four days before her brother's burial, due to a money issue involving one of Okafor's friends. Ogala's emotional breakdown and hospitalization have sparked concern among fans and fellow celebrities.
Ogala's lawyer has demanded ₦1 billion in damages from Okafor, citing emotional trauma, breach of promise, and defamation.
