The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has shared photos from the Super Eagles' friendly match against Egypt, which ended in a 2-1 defeat for Nigeria. The match was played at the Cairo International Stadium as part of the teams' preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
In the photos shared by the NFF, Nigeria's Super Eagles are seen in action against Egypt's Pharaohs, with players like Chidozie Awaziem, Paul Onuachu, and Zaidu Sanusi featuring prominently. Awaziem scored Nigeria's equalizing goal in the first half, but Egypt regained the lead through Mostafa Mohamed in the second half.

The Super Eagles will now head to Morocco to prepare for their AFCON campaign, which kicks off on December 23 against Tanzania. Coach Eric Chelle has expressed confidence in his team's abilities, despite the loss to Egypt.
