Some Nigerian celebrities have taken advantage of the present pandemic to give relief funds to the society, most especially needy people in this period of compulsory self-isolation. It is no longer news that the pandemic outbreak has restrained many to their homes, thereby, affecting their daily struggles for survival.
Amongst the celebrities who offered to help Nigerians out is Runtown, the Mad Over You crooner. Runtown announced earlier on his Twitter page to give N10 million and many of his fans have begun to show evidence of receipt.
Adekunle Gold, former YBNL labelmate and Afrobeat hitmaker, also joined the relief fund donation by pledging N1 million.
Few hours after, a DMW crewmember and hitmaker, Peruzzi, also joined the wave by pledging to sponsor the lunch of random people who drop their account numbers.
The King Kong, Vector The Viper, was not also left out as he also told his fans to also drop their account number as he pledged to donate
N500 000
Taooma, the popular skit maker and Instagram comedian, was not also left out as she promised to give N1 million to her fans
The actions of these few as really shown that there is love in sharing and we can all provide love and help for ourselves in this desperate times. I pray God continue to bless them.
