It was a night to remember for all Liverpool fans as they were handed the title, after being confirmed Champions weeks ago.
Liverpool emerged Champions of the league for the seaon with seven games to spare following their outstanding performances all through out the campaign.
The first half saw Jurgen Klopp men step up their attacking gear as the raced to a 3-0 lead under 40 minutes.
Goals from Naby Keita, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Wijnaldum put the newly crowned Champions in cruise control.
A scrappy goal from Oliver Giroud just before half time made it 3-1.
After the hour mark, it was Frimino header that extended the gap once again before two substitutes; Abraham and Pulisic pulled two goals back as the Blues were on course for a come back.
Jurgen Klopp brought in Oxlade Chamberlain for Mohamed Salah whose impact was felt as he grabbed the fifth with a simple simple.
Speaking after the game, Jurgen Klopp praised his fans for their support all through the campaign.
He added that the Club will celebrate with their fans once the pandemic is over.
"You made us champions. Thank you very much. We should all celebrate. Drink what you want but you have you to prepare for a party when this b******t virus is gone. Then we will have a party all together. Make sure you are ready then."
