Pontus Jansson diverted Reece James' cross into his own net to hand Chelsea the lead.
Alvaro Fernandez then brought down Christian Pulisic in the box and referee Andre Marriner pointed to the spot.
Then Jorginho booked the Blues' place in the last four, successfully dispatching his effort into the bottom-left corner.
