
Manchester United's David de Gea has been excluded from the Spanish national team that will participate at the World Cup.
The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper
will not go to the Qatar World Cup after reportedly being left off Spain's 55-man provisional squad list.
Man United goalkeeper David de Gea has been left off Spain's World Cup squad list.
Spanish boss Luis Enrique has submitted his preliminary list of players for the competition which is expected to kick off in November 20th 2022.
Although, it's understood that the 55 man squad will be chopped down to final 26-man before the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar this year.

According to AS, Enrique has selected five different goalkeepers in the 55-man list but De Gea is not one of them.
The Manchester United shot stopper last game for Spain. was their 1-0 defeat to Ukraine in a Nations League match in 2020.

The three goalkeepers include Athletic Bilbao's Unai Simon, Brighton's Robert Sanchez and Brentford's David Raya.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga and Getafe's David Soria have been chosen as back-ups in case of any injuries or illnesses prior to the tournament.
Brighton's Robert Sanchez has also been selected after his impressive performances
SPAIN GROUP AT 2022 WORLD CUP
Spain have been grouped along with Costa Rica, Germany and Japan in Group E.
Luis Enrique side will kick off their campaign on 23rd of November.
