Cristiano Ronaldo left fans in frenzy mode after he annouced an endorsement deal few hours after Manchester United terminated his contract.
The 37-year-old becomes a free agent before the World Cup ended after United decided to terminate his contract by mutual agreement.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been under the spotlight for past few days after his bombshell interview in which he accused Man United of disrespecting him.
The Portugal international came out dhiejg the one on one interview with media personality Piers Morgan, where he came out to criticize Manchester United, his manager Erik Den Hag and former team mates.
United released a statement confirming his contract termination: "Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.
"The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future. Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch."
Meanwhile the former Juventus and Real Madrid star posted a new partnership with a luxury watch brand.
Taking to his social media space, he captioned: "I’m excited to announce my partnership with @jacobandco, one of the leading watch brands in the world. Today, we reveal our first watch collection that I co-designed with my dear friend @jacobarabo."
