Manchester United have decided to terminate the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Reportminds Blog understands that Ronaldo scored total of 145 goals in 346 appearances during his two spells at Old Trafford stadium.

The 37-year-old has been under the spotlight since the past few days after his bombshell interview in which he accused Man United of disrespecting him.

Cristiano Ronaldo came out to criticize Manchester United during his interview with British TV personality Piers Morgan.

Manchester United believed Ronaldo had violated his terms of 'employment with his criticism of the club's US owners, manager Erik ten Hag, the club's facilities, his teammates.

Manchester United confirmed with a statement with reads: "Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.

'The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.'

The announcement comes as a result of the 37-year-old's two-part bombshell interview with Morgan on TalkTV last week.

The statement added: 'Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch.'

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to lead his Portugal side at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The 37-year-old will face the Black Stars of Ghana on Thursday November 24th in their opening group stage match.
