Chelsea star Reece James has been forced off in their Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

The Blues welcome Bournemouth to the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday in their Premier League match day 17 fixture.

As at the time of this report, Graham Potter side are in leading 2-0. First half goals from Kai Havertz in the 16 minutes and Mason Mount in 24 minutes ensured that Chelsea are comfortable ahead.

Chelsea haven't been convincing enough with their performance so far in the campaign. But a win tonight will have them sit in 8th position with 24 points.

Meanwhile Chelsea have been dealt a serious blow after Reece James was walked out of the pitch due to injury concern.
In the 53rd minutes, Reece James was subbed off in his first match back for Chelsea with an apparent leg injury.

The 23 English international just recovered from an injury he picked up two months ago which made him miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Although, Potter might breathe a, sign of relief because James was able to walk off the field, and he goes straight down the tunnel to continue treatment.

James was replaced by Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta in the right side of defense.
