Erik ten Hag finally spoke out about Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Manchester United, saying, "He's gone and it's the past," before adamantly stating that the team is "looking to the future."
While he and the team were at a winter training camp in Spain, the United manager gave a two-part interview.

Danny Webber, a former football player and MUTV presenter, questioned Erik Den Hag about the January transfer window and how he handled Ronaldo's exit.

He said: 'He's gone and it's the past.

'We are now looking forward and we're looking to the future.'

It was a succinct but revealing response that helped calm the club down after Ronaldo's explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he revealed he had no respect for the United manager.
