He claimed that Lionel Messi was the best and that his desire was to help the national team win a championship when Messi was playing for PSG. He admitted that his greatest aim was to win the World Cup trophy for the best player [Messi] after winning the Finalissima and Copa America.
In this recent interview, Emi Martinez said, “Messi is best and my dream was to give Lio a title in Argentina. Obviously giving him Copa América and Finalissima, but my final dream as an athlete was to give the best [Messi] in the world the World Cup so there’s no doubt that he’s the greatest.”
