Benoit Badiashile, a promising young defender from France, has officially joined Chelsea.
Reportminds Blog understands that A seven-year contract that the former Monaco defender signed will keep him at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile the injury history of Benoit Badiashile is not favorable at all. He is quite prone to injuries, much like Wesley Fofana and Reece James, and Chelsea may suffer the consequences down the road.
Chelsea has to avoid adding players who are prone to injuries because that has been their main issue lately. Injuries to Kante, Reece James, and Fofana prevented the blues from being as bad as they were.
Chelsea has paid £35 million to acquire French national team defender Benoit Badiashile.
According to the Reportminds blog, the Premier League team has confirmed that the 21-year-old has committed to a seven-and-a-half-year deal in west London.
The player had previously participated in more than 100 games in Ligue 1 for the Principality team. He has two caps for Les Bleus and has also played in the Champions League. He made his debut for Didier Deschamps' team in a 2-1 win over Austria in September of last year.
The left-footed Badiashile is Chelsea's third significant center back acquisition this year, following the signings of Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana during the summer transfer window.
