The American international has struggled to get consistent playing time at Stamford Bridge, so the Blues decided to bolster their wing rotation by signing Mudryk in an £89 million ($110 million) transfer from Shakhtar.
On the House of Champions podcast, Fabrizio Romano stated that the Premier League team would have attempted to unload Pulisic during this transfer window, but their plans were dashed by the knee injury that will keep him out for almost two months. The rumor is that he may yet go in the summer.
Chelsea coach Graham Potter said there is "no chance" of Pulisic, who has started six of his 16 Premier League appearances this season, being sold by the club in January. "There was never even consideration anyway but he’s a couple of months out," he added.
On February 3, Potter's team will play again when they take on Fulham in the Premier League.
