KIERAN TIERNEY had been nicknamed "Ice King" after practicing in subzero conditions while donning only a short-sleeved shirt and shorts.
As soon as Football Daily posted footage from the Arsenal's training facility, the defender for Arsenal became the buzz of Twitter.
After witnessing the video, the defender was praised by fans as the "Ice King." It featured Mikel Arteta's team interacting with the ball.
While his teammates chose long-armed training shirts, tracksuit bottoms, and even some gloves, the former Celtic star opted for more conventional summer attire.
Tierney has made headlines among Gooners in the past for defying the weather.
In the snowy West Brom game with January 2021, he warmed up in just a short-sleeved jersey before scoring the game's game-winning goal.
He was also praised for his humility when, in June of the year before, he showed up for an FA Cup quarterfinal away to Sheffield United with his stuff in a Tesco carrier bag.
Tierney and Arsenal are now enjoying themselves as they go into Sunday's match against Manchester United with an eight-point lead in the Premier League.
He has appeared in 23 games for the Gunners this season, scoring one goal.
