Gabriel Magalhaes, a defender for Arsenal, has openly criticized the official's decisions from Tuesday night's 0-0 draw with Newcastle United.
The 25-year-old Brazilian expressed his shock at the lack of a decision on Twitter by posting a video of Magpies defender Dan Burn pulling on his shirt inside the box and using the emoji "face palm."
Newcastle became the first team to prevent Mikel Arteta's side from scoring so far this season, and there were two penalties that could have been given to the Gunners.
Dan Burn, a defender for Newcastle, pulled the Brazilian down inside the box by the shirt.
The first allegation stemmed from the Gabriel incident, in which Gabriel was brought to the ground by Burn's challenge after receiving an Arsenal free kick that was played into the box.
The Gunners protested, but were ignored; nonetheless, the defender posted a replay of the foul at midnight, after they might have lost two crucial points in their pursuit of the Premier League championship.
Like Gabriel, boss Arteta was incensed with the decisions made during the game when Granit Xhaka's cross later struck Jacob Murphy's arm.
