Jakub Kiwior: Mikel Arteta completes second January signing from Spezia for £25m

Arsenal have completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior on long term deal from Serie A side, Spezia. 

The Poland international was acquired by Arsenal from Spezia for about €25 million.

After Leandro Trossard's signing last week, the Polish international is Mikel Arteta's second in January.

The 22-year-old defender for Poland's national team, who played 43 times for Italian team Spezia.

According to Reportminds Blog, Jakub participated in the recent FIFA World Cup in Qatar as a member of the national team.

Jakub has already made nine appearances for Poland since his debut on the international stage.

Jakub played his youth football for the Polish club GKS Tychy, the Belgian club Anderlecht, and the Slovakian team FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova before joining them at the age of 18.

Until June 2028, Kiwior will make a gross of £3 million every season.
Jakub Kiwior was seen with his representatives Pawel Zimonczyk and Sasha Huet-Baranov signing a deal to join Arsenal.

Jakub will wear shirt number 15, according to Arsenal.


The versatile defender could made his debut when Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium on Friday to face Manchester City in FA Cup.
