Tottenham's first January signing Arnaut Danjuma completed his move from Villarreal

Arnaut Danjuma will join Tottenham Hotspur on loan from Villarreal, marking their first acquisition of the January transfer season.

Danjuma appeared to be headed for Everton after reaching an agreement with the Merseyside team and passing a medical.

Instead, following a last-minute swoop, Tottenham Hotspur persuaded the former Bournemouth star to go to north London.

Danjuma also announced his arrival at Spurs via social media, posting three images of himself completing the transfer.

Conte's team has also been closing in on right-back Pedro Porro, so they will be hoping this is the first of at least two transfers this week.
