

Dino and the others demanded that the results entered into the Commission's Result Viewing Portal (iREV) from the various state Colation centers be projected on a screen so they could be contrasted with the ones manually presented by state collation officers for the presidential election (SCOPs). Additionally, they argued that the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, should not accept the results of the Ekiti state election because there were instances of excessive voting and electoral irregularities.
However, the INEC chairman insisted that there was no overvoting in Ekiti and that the results announced by the SCOPs are valid.
Melaye, Ihedioha, and a group of four other people reacted by storming out of the national collation center.
