INEC Postpones Election In Parts Of Edo

Voting has been delayed in some Edo states by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, revealed this at a press conference he gave on Saturday in Abuja.

Due to the absence of a political party's logo on the ballot, Edo State deployed constituency elections in Esan North, Esan South, and Igueben. The political party's name was omitted from his statement.

He stated that the Edo elections have been moved to March 11 in order to coincide with the governorship and state house of assembly elections.
