On Wednesday, Manchester United will face West Ham United in the FA Cup's fifth round. Manchester United won their first trophy in nearly six years after defeating Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium in the Carabao Cup final.

Two Manchester United players will miss tomorrow's match against West Ham United due to injuries sustained in the final on Sunday, manager Erik Ten Hag confirmed during a press conference.

Erik Ten Hag made it clear prior to the game that both the England defender Luke Shaw and the Brazilian midfielder Fred are seriously unsure of their participation.

The two players' availability for Sunday's crucial game against Liverpool at the Anfield stadium as well as the severity of their injuries have not yet been established.
