In PSG's most recent Ligue 1 game, an exciting match against Lille took place at Parc des Princes, and the 31-year-old had scored one of the goals. But after being taken off just six minutes into the second half, Neymar was unable to finish the game.
When Neymar got hurt, he was trying to get PSG moving forward and eventually had to leave the field with his head in his hands. The South American went over on his right ankle as he made an effort to maneuver through midfield, and it was obvious that he was in pain as soon as he landed on the ground. Even though he did receive medical care, it was quickly determined that he couldn't go on.
In the first half of their match against Lille, PSG also lost Nuno Mendes to injury, as problems both on and off the field persisted in the French capital.
Prior to playing Bayern Munich on March 8 in the second leg of a Champions League match that they currently trail 1-0 on aggregate, PSG will play Marseille and Nantes in their upcoming Ligue 1 games.
