Thiago Silva, a star for Chelsea, has pledged to assist in the club's rebuild and has voiced his support for the new owner.
There seems to be a rebuilding process ongoing at Chelsea since the take over of Todd Boehly and his American business owners.
Chelsea spent millions of pounds in signing over eight players in the just concluded January transfer window.
The January additions to Chelsea's roster surprised and impressed Silva in an interview with the club's official website. He claimed that during his professional life, he had never witnessed anything like it.
"It's the first time I have seen something like this in my whole career. This shows the ambition of the club, how much the club wants to win."
The 38-year-old defender claimed that despite Chelsea's season not getting off to a good start, they can remain optimistic and take all necessary steps to make it a success.
Thiago Silva, who is expected to sign a new contract, also urged the new additions to adapt quickly.
He said " they should try to settle in as soon as possible because there is no time left, the champions league will start soon. We need everyone to be ready".
