Neymar set to miss PSG Champions League clash with Bayern Munich

Neymar Jr. won't play in Paris Saint-Champions Germain's League match against Bayern Munich, according to Christophe Galtier.

On February 19, Neymar was carried off the field following PSG's thrilling 4-3 victory over Lille, and examinations later revealed he had damaged ankle ligaments.

The injury to the Brazil international put his participation against Bayern in doubt right away. 

PSG needed to overcome a 1-0 deficit after losing the first leg at Parc des Princes, a match in which Kylian Mbappe, another attacking star, was forced to play only as a substitute because of an injury.

Mbappe and Lionel Messi shone in a 3-0 demolition of Marseille to extend the Ligue 1 leaders' lead at the top to eight points.

Galtier is aware that Nantes, who have won two of their past four league games against PSG, will be a tough challenge, even though Wednesday's trip to Bayern Munich is thought to be a make-or-break match for PSG's season.
