The First Tech University in Oyo state has been renamed in honor of the late APC governor, Abiola Ajimobi, by the PDP governor.
During the school's second convocation, the governor made the name change announcement and uploaded it on his social media pages. He stated: 'This morning, we attended the second convocation ceremony of the First Technical University, Ibadan. I congratulated all graduands of the university and urged them to be good ambassadors of Tech-U and Oyo State as they move to the next phase of their lives.
I also announced that we have made the decision to rename the university the Abiola Ajimobi First Technical University in honour of my predecessor who established the university.'
