In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City has announced their new home jersey for the 2023–24 season.
The striking navy blue uniform used during the club's first season at the venue served as the inspiration for the new uniform, which was created by sportswear behemoth Puma.
After 80 years at Maine Road, City relocated to the Etihad in August 2003, ushering in an era that would be replete with trophies and glitz.
Puma has paid thanks by considering the architecture of the earth while designing their most recent model. In fact, the four enormous turrets that are positioned surrounding the site and create the subdued tonal stripes were the idea for the front design of the shirt.
The kit is finished with a white V-neck that is an exact replica of the one worn for the Etihad's inaugural shirt, the 2003-04 home strip. The postcode of the stadium is also featured on the back of the collar, symbolizing the two-decade milestone once again.
