Jordan Henderson was observed shooting what looked to be a goodbye message to the Liverpool supporters on the Anfield pitch before traveling to Saudi Arabia to establish a relationship Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq.
After a contentious transfer to the Saudi Pro League, where he signed a three-year deal earning almost £700,000 per week, Henderson is ending his 12-year relationship with the Premier League's biggest clubs.
Henderson is said to have had a lengthy conversation with Klopp regarding how much playing time he would receive in the next season and his position on the club. He also conducted chats with Gareth Southgate regarding how the transfer will effect his international career.
Henderson was spotted strolling around the field with the Liverpool media crew. The stadium was empty when the 33-year-old put his phone in front of his face to snap a video.
Shortly after those negotiations, Henderson chose to sign with the Saudi Arabian team and completed a medical in Manchester on Friday afternoon
