The Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It was Marco Silva side that took the lead under 1 minute from poor back pass by Bukayo Saka and Andreas Pereira fired the shot into the net.

But Palhinha nets late equaliser for 10-man Cottagers in the closing stages of the game.

Meanwhile Gabriel Agbonlahor has slammed Mikel Arteta for his tactical approach to the game.

Mikel Arteta left many fans surprised when he benched centre back Gabriel Magalhães and played Thomas Partey at right back.

The former Aston villa striker whose now a pundit has disagreed with Mikel Arteta.

Speaking on Talk Sports, he said: "Why is Arteta trying to do this experiment with Arsenal?”

He question the decision of the manager to play new summer signing Kai Havertz in the midfield.

The 24-year-old joined Arsenal for 65m pounds from Chelsea, but Agbonlahor ponder reason for the German international playing in the midfield instead of Thomas Partey.

He added: “Why are you playing Havertz? Why is Partey at RB? Arsenal fans will agree"
