Mohamed Salah 'wants to STAY,' according to Dominik Szoboszlai, at Liverpool despite Saudi Arabia's desire.
Mohamed Salah is eager to remain at the club, according to Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, despite interest from Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ittihad made a £150 million bid to the Reds, but they turned it down. Nevertheless, they will continue to pursue Salah until their window shuts on September 7.
Szoboszlai stated after Liverpool's 3-0 victory against Aston Villa: 'You know it is football everyone is talking. We are really happy that he has stayed.
'We are of course speaking between each other but he [Salah] wants to stay, he wants to be here and be with us. We are really happy - we need people in the team like him.'
Dominic Szoboszlai scored his debut goal in the Premier League to give Liverpool the lead. Then Jurgen Klopp's side added the second when Matt Cash scored an own goal before Mohamed Salah made it 3-0.
