This was corroborated by a statement shared earlier today on verified X and by the EFCC.
If you remember, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, is prosecuting Naira Marley on 11 counts including conspiracy and credit card fraud.
Naira Marley, however, was not present in court since he was being questioned by the police over the murder of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Ojo asked to the court to postpone the trial as a result.
However, in response, the prosecution's attorney, Bilkisu Buhari, asked the court to issue a production warrant against the defendant in order to guarantee his attendance at the next adjourned date.
In response to the prosecution's requests, Justice Oweibo issued a warrant for the defendant's production.
The court further postponed the case to October 30, 2023, so that the trial may continue.
