Napoli manager Antonio Conte has emphatically shut down rumors of a summer exit for winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
"There are NO doubts," Conte said according to Fabrizio Romano. "Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stays here and he will play for Napoli."
Conte's comments come amidst speculation linking the Georgian international with a move away from Naples, with Liverpool a reported suitor. However, the recently appointed Napoli boss appears confident that the club's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has secured Kvaratskhelia's future.
"The president told me he was gonna stay and this is the case, I'm very happy," Conte added.
Kvaratskhelia, who notched an impressive 25 goals in 88 games across all competitions in his two seasons at Napoli, has clearly made him a vital cog in Conte's plans. The winger's talent is seen as key to the club's future success.
"Kvaratskhelia and Di Lorenzo are key part of our project," Conte emphasized.
If you recall that Conte took over after a period of instability following the departure of the previous successful coach like Rudi Garcia, Walter Mazzarri and Spalletti.
