Tobi Amusan Fails to Advance to Women’s 100 Meters Hurdles Final After Finishing Third in Semi-Final Heat

Tobi Amusan, a prominent Nigerian hurdler, did not advance to the final of the women’s 100 meters hurdles event.

During the semi-finals, the 27-year-old athlete clocked a time of 12.55 seconds, which earned her third place in the first heat.

This performance was not enough to secure one of the two automatic qualification spots from her heat. Furthermore, with athletes from other heats surpassing her time, Amusan also fell short of securing one of the non-automatic qualification positions. As a result, she did not progress further in the competition.
