Cristiano Ronaldo has once again made history by becoming the first men's player to score 900 goals in official matches. This incredible milestone was achieved during Portugal's UEFA Nations League match against Croatia in Lisbon on Thursday, September 5.

The match saw Portugal take an early lead with Diogo Dalot scoring in the 7th minute, assisted by Bruno Fernandes. Ronaldo then doubled Portugal's advantage in the 34th minute with a superb volley from six yards out, following a precise cross from Nuno Mendes. Croatia managed to pull one back before halftime, thanks to an own goal by Dalot in the 41st minute.

Ronaldo's 131 international goals in 209 appearances further cement his status as the top scorer in men's international football. His closest competitors, Lionel Messi and former Iran forward Ali Daei, each have 109 goals.

Ronaldo's relentless pursuit of excellence and his ability to perform at the highest level continue to inspire football fans worldwide. As he breaks records and sets new benchmarks, the football community eagerly anticipates his future achievements.
