Nigerian singer Spyro has recently shared his decision to embrace celibacy, revealing his internal struggle with premarital sex in a candid Instagram post.
The musician admitted that while he found pleasure in premarital sex, it left him feeling guilty and troubled.
"Sex felt good until I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience," Spyro wrote. "Every time I 'FORNICATED' knowing I wasn't married to the person, I felt troubled, like a part of me was taken right after."
Spyro explained that he wrestled with this internal conflict for some time but continued to pray for strength. Eventually, he decided to sever all lingering connections that tempted him. He acknowledged that maintaining celibacy has not been easy, especially when traveling and encountering attractive women, and dealing with promoters who do not make it any easier. However, he remains committed to his decision, stating, "I am keeping this bed for ONE now."
