Rasheedat Ajibade, the Nigerian Super Falcons forward, recently shared a festive photo on Instagram, celebrating Christmas with a cross in hand. 
In the image, she is seen wearing a customized shirt emblazoned with 'Jesus 01'. Accompanying the photo, Ajibade wrote: "Jesus Christ is the ultimate reason for the season. His birth offers us the chance for salvation and transformation (a new life)."
Ajibade, who plays for Atlético Madrid, is known for her strong Christian faith. In a 2022 match for the national team, after scoring a goal, she wore a t-shirt under her jersey with the message "Thank You Jesus."
Beyond her athletic achievements, Ajibade is committed to community empowerment. She founded the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation, which recently launched a footballer-focused medical outreach in Lagos, Nigeria. The program, in partnership with The Balm InfusClinic, provided CPR and first aid training to local footballers.
