Luke Shaw Faces Four-Week Injury Setback, Further Delaying His Return to Action for Manchester United

Luke Shaw has reportedly suffered another injury setback, which could delay his return to action by approximately four weeks.

This latest setback comes after a string of injury troubles this season, and it follows closely behind the devastating news of Lisandro Martínez’s anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, which will keep him sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Shaw, who has managed only 98 minutes of playing time so far this season, now faces an extended period on the sidelines. His absence is expected to affect his availability for upcoming matches, including the FA Cup tie against Leicester City.

The injury leaves Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim with limited options at left-back, especially after Tyrell Malacia’s loan move to PSV Eindhoven. However, the club’s recent £29 million acquisition of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce could offer a solution, with the young defender potentially making his debut in the upcoming match against Leicester.
