Barcelona's Pedri had a humorous exchange with his young teammate, Lamine Yamal, after the 17-year-old missed his penalty in Spain's penalty shootout against the Netherlands in a dramatic UEFA Nations League quarter-final.

The match, held at Valencia's Mestalla Stadium, ended 3-3 after extra time, with Spain eventually winning 5-4 in the shootout. Yamal, who had earlier scored a brilliant goal during extra time to give Spain a 3-2 lead, saw his penalty attempt saved during the shootout.

Reflecting on the incident, Pedri joked, "I told Lamine that what a sh*tty penalty he took." However, he quickly added, "But well, I think he's a player who learns from that. We can't put pressure on him."

Spain's victory in the shootout was sealed by a crucial save from goalkeeper Unai Simón, ensuring their progression to the semi-finals.

Looking ahead, Spain will face France in the Nations League semi-finals on June 5 in Germany.
