Arsenal defender William Saliba has reaffirmed his commitment to the club amid ongoing transfer speculation linking him to Real Madrid. The 23-year-old French centre-back, who still has two and a half years left on his contract, has made it clear that he intends to remain at Arsenal and achieve significant success with the team.
Speaking about his aspirations, Saliba stated, "I am really happy here at Arsenal. I have two years and a half on my contract, and I want to continue here. I want to win big things with Arsenal. If you leave this club without winning anything, the fans will forget about you. I want to win here."

Saliba also emphasized the importance of dreaming big, particularly in the UEFA Champions League, as he believes that a lack of ambition would render participation meaningless. He remarked, "If we don't believe or if we don't dream to win the Champions League, there is no point to play... We can do it, we all believe that we can do it."

The French international has also discussed his personal growth as a defender, citing his partnership with Gabriel Magalhães as a key factor in his development. He acknowledged the Brazilian's contributions, saying, "I have to work on my game... I have to watch especially my partner, Gabriel, who has been so, so good this season."

Since joining Arsenal, Saliba has been an integral part of the squad, making 90 Premier League appearances and scoring six goals. He has also featured in nine domestic cup matches and 20 European games, including six in the current Champions League campaign. This season alone, he has made 25 Premier League appearances and scored twice.

Looking ahead, Arsenal will host PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium on March 12, 2025, in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie. Arsenal heads into the fixture with a commanding 4-1 aggregate lead from the first leg in the Netherlands.
