Rapper Snoop Dogg has teamed up with Swansea City in a headline-grabbing move, joining the club to help launch their new home kit for the 2025–26 season—while also fuelling speculation of a deeper investment in the Championship side.
The hip-hop legend was unveiled as part of the club’s latest high-profile collaboration, wearing the Swans' new kit and starring in a promotional campaign that took a playful jab at fellow Welsh club Wrexham. In a post shared on Swansea’s social media, a photo of Snoop in the jersey was captioned:
> “Dogg included… We’re the Pride of Wales.”
While his involvement is currently promotional, reports suggest Snoop Dogg may be looking to join the club’s ownership group. Swansea is already co-owned by former Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modrić, who joined the American-led board earlier this year. Now, Snoop Dogg’s presence hints at further strategic and commercial growth for the club.
Club directors Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen have previously expressed their intent to attract international attention and boost global partnerships, with more announcements expected soon.
Swansea finished 11th in the Championship last season and are aiming for a return to the Premier League. Off the pitch, the club continues to grow its brand, with the potential addition of Snoop Dogg to the ownership further elevating its international appeal.
The new season begins with an away match against Middlesbrough on August 9, while a highly anticipated clash with Wrexham is scheduled for December 20.
