Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie posed proudly with the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) trophy and her Golden Glove award following Nigeria’s dramatic 3–2 comeback win over hosts Morocco in the final.
Nnadozie, who was a key figure throughout the tournament, delivered outstanding performances that helped Nigeria secure their record-extending 10th WAFCON title. Her efforts in goal earned her the Golden Glove, awarded to the tournament’s best goalkeeper.
The Super Falcons’ journey to the title was marked by resilience and determination. Despite trailing 2–0 at halftime in the final, the team rallied back in the second half to seal a historic victory, with Rasheedat Ajibade named Player of the Tournament for her influential role.
