Luiz Díaz made a dream competitive debut for Bayern Munich, helping the Bundesliga giants clinch a 2–1 victory over VfB Stuttgart in the German Super Cup at the MHP Arena. The Colombian forward not only found the net with a decisive 77th‑minute header, but also paid an emotional tribute by celebrating in Diogo Jota’s signature finger‑to‑temple pose — a heartfelt nod to his late former Liverpool teammate.

Harry Kane had set the tone early, breaking the deadlock in the 17th minute with a precise finish after a flowing attacking move. Stuttgart fought back late, with Jamie Leweling pulling one back in stoppage time, but Bayern’s control and defensive discipline ensured the trophy was headed to Munich.

For Díaz, the night was more than just a debut — it was a statement of intent and a moment of remembrance, blending footballing excellence with a gesture that resonated across the football community.
