Flat Mates Veteran Kayode Peters Laid to Rest in Canada

Nigerian filmmaker Kayode Peters Adewumi was laid to rest in Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, August 2, 2025. The funeral service took place at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, followed by the interment at Milton Evergreen Cemetery.

Kayode Peters, widely known for his roles as actor, producer, and director—including his portrayal of “Koko” in Flatmates—passed away on June 28, 2025, in Toronto after battling a long illness. He was 49 years old and is survived by his wife and children.
