Kostas Tsimikas is en route to Italy after finalising a loan move from Liverpool to AS Roma.

The 29-year-old Greek left-back has been granted permission by Liverpool to undergo medical tests in Rome, with the Serie A club set to cover his full salary for the duration of the season .
