Manchester United Held to Draw by West Ham

In a hard-fought Premier League clash at Old Trafford, Manchester United were held to a 1–1 draw by a resilient West Ham United side on Thursday night. 

After a goalless first half, United took the lead in the 58th minute thanks to Diogo Dalot, who reacted fastest to a deflected Casemiro shot and drove the ball into the net. 

However, just seven minutes from time, Soungoutou Magassa struck for West Ham — capitalising on a loose ball from a corner to fire home the equalizer and snatch a point for the visitors. 

Despite dominating possession for much of the match and controlling large portions of play, United failed to convert their chances. In added time, Bruno Fernandes missed two good opportunities to win it, first firing over from inside the box and then volleying wide. 

The result leaves Manchester United in eighth place with 22 points — a missed opportunity to climb into the top five. West Ham, meanwhile, remain 18th, still under pressure near the bottom of the table.
