Arsenal Fans slammed Mikel Arteta for playing Kai Havertz after draw against Fulham

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, received criticism for always starting Kai Havertz in the midfield. 

Despite having an extra man, Arsenal was unable to overcome Fulham at home tonight because of a late Palhinha equalizer.

Although Kai Havertz was undoubtedly the poorest player on the field, many Arsenal supporters think the issue is not only with the German.

It's also because Arteta insisted on using Thomas Partey in a midfield position rather than his natural right-back position.

For the third game in a row this season, the former Chelsea forward started in Mikel Arteta's midfield three with Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.

Havertz should have equalized for Arsenal in the 11th minute when he met Bukayo Saka's cross, but he inexplicably missed the goal from close range.

He was substituted in the second half for Fabio Vieira who made an impact, winning a penalty and created assist for Eddie Nketiah goal to put Arsenal 2-1. 

But Gunners allowed ten men Fulham back into the game when Palhinha nets late equaliser for 10-man Cottagers.
